Terms and Conditions of Sale and regulations

  1. REGULATIONS

    • The regulations of Palazzo Del Carretto - Art Apartments and Guesthousein Via Bogino 16, TURIN, have been drawn up to ensure all guests fair, orderly, and peaceful use of the premises. They take the form of a contract between the management of PALAZZO CARRETTO and the guest; consequently the request to stay in the Apartments and the acceptance of the request by the management implies the total acceptance of these regulations. Failure to observe the regulations and any other provisions of the management will lead to the removal of the offender from the premises and, in the case in which this failure could be surmised to constitute a crime, the offender will be reported to the police.
    • All the signs in the premises must be respected.
    • The parents (or legal guardians) of children are fully responsible for the acts of their offspring on the premises and are required to monitor them and ensure that their behaviour is polite and respectful towards others, under their direct responsibility.
    • Any activity that may disturb other guests is prohibited.
    • The proper behaviour of both adult guests and children is considered an essential term of this contract. Consequently, failure to comply with any of these regulations, or the common rules of human society and those ensuring a pleasant stay, will be considered by the management as an irreversible breach of contract on the part of the guest, leading to the removal of the latter from the premises within 5 hours of the allegations. The management is entitled to retain any payments already made and to demand any outstanding sums, also in compensation for damages, while reserving the right to further compensation if the extent of damage is ascertained to exceed the amount already paid.

  1. BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATION PENALTIES

    • Bookings may be made using the following methods: online through the website www.palazzodelcarretto.com; by telephone on +39.011.887355 or via e-mail at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
    • Bookings will be accepted according to availability and will be considered valid only if confirmed in writing and upon payment of the sum due for the period booked.
    • Payments will be charged at the rate agreed at the time of booking. The amount due for the entire duration of the stay will be paid, in full, at the time of check-in.
    • The terms of free cancellation will be agreed upon at the time of booking. In case of a no-show without prior communication from the user, 100% of the total cost of the stay will be charged.

  2. CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT

    • Check-in is by appointment ; the time must be agreed in advance with the reception. Check-in is possible from 1:30 pm until 7:00 pm.
    • Upon check-in, guests must show an identification document with a photo in order to allow verification of the identity of the guests by visual verification (ref. art. 109 TULPS).
    • Please inform promptly about delays and contingencies so as to re-adjust the time of reception and respect the agreed time to avoid inconvenience and / or expectations.
      In case of non-communicated delays, additional costs may apply.
      On Sundays and public holidays, the reception is closed from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m..
    • Depending on their occupancy and availability, the Apartments will be available from 1:30 pm at the latest on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10:30 a.m. on the day of departure. The rates are per night, regardless of the time of arrival. Any arrivals before the check-in time or late departures must always be agreed upon and confirmed by reception with at least 48 hours notice.
    • The Apartments must be vacated by 10:30 a.m. on the day of departure. Failure to do so will incur a cost of € 15 per hour for each additional hour up until 2 p.m. at the latest. After 2 p.m. the Guest will be charged for the total cost of the apartment for the entire night.
    • Upon arrival, guests must hand in an identity document at the reception and fill out the police form.
    • Minors unaccompanied by adults will be accepted only upon presentation of a consent form signed by their parents (or legal guardians), with a telephone number where they can be contacted and a copy of their identity document.
    • The keys to the apartments must be handed in to our staff at the reception, who will proceed to check the rooms.

  3. SERVICES

    • Our internal parking is available upon reservation and costs €30.00 per night. We invite you to request the service by indicating the model of your car to check availability. To meet times of high demand, we have made an agreement for our guests with a large underground car park a few steps from our suites.
    • The car park is unattended; consequently, the owners of vehicles must take personal precautions to ensure them against theft and damage. The management declines all responsability in this respect. Any oil leaks from vehicles that may damage the paving, or any other damage caused to the premises by vehicles, as ascertained by the management, must be fully reimbursed at the guest’s expense upon presentation of an invoice by Società Palazzo del Carretto or an outside company entrusted with the repairs.
    • Kitchen – the Apartments have a large entrance/living room with table, chairs, and kitchenette equipped with a fridge, stovetop, sink, plates, cutlery, and various accessories.
    • The Apartments have one fully furnished bedroom, depending on type, complete with bed linen, a bathrobe, towels, a courtesy kit, bath-mats, coat-hangers, and curtains.
    • Sheets and towels are changed every two days and always before check-in.
    • The bedroom and bathroom tidying service is included as agreed upon at the time of booking.
      • In case of using the kitchen and utensils, kindly request to leave it tidy and clean upon departure.
      • The kitchenette cleaning service can also be requested during the stay and has a cost of 25.00 euros.
      • The final cleaning service of the kitchenette, if not left tidy, incurs a supplement of 25.00 euros.
    • The Apartment will always be available to guests during their stay, apart from a period of approximately 30 minutes a day, between 9 :30 a.m. and 2 :00 pm, for servicing.
    • All the basic services (water, electricity, heating, and air-conditioning) are generally always included in the price paid for the stay, except in the case of particular agreements.
    • Internet – All the Apartments have a Wi-Fi internet connection. The service is free.
    • Any extra services must be requested and paid for separately.

  4. RULES OF CONDUCT AND PROHIBITIONS

    • Smoking is prohibited in the apartments.
    • Pets are prohibited in the apartments.
    • Parties are strictly prohibited.
    • All activities incompatible with hygiene rules, the peace and quiet of other guests, the decorum of the building, and its safety are prohibited in the Apartment.
    • It is prohibited to modify the hotel’s furnishings, fittings, and fixtures. The management is not liable for any damage to persons or things caused by improper use or tampering with the furnishings, fittings, and fixtures.
    • Guests in the Apartments must pay particular attention to turning off taps, switching off lights and electrical appliances before going out, the proper use of electrical sockets and the stovetop in the kitchen, avoiding contact with water, the use of extractor hood and/or fan while cooking food, and the correct use of the extractor fan in the bathroom. Any malfunctioning must be immediately reported to the management, which will arrange for repairs as soon as possible.
    • It is not possible to use the suites as photographic sets, either amateur or professional.

  5. RESPONSABILITY

    • The management is not liable for the loss of objects and/or valuables, as guests are responsible for looking after their own property.
    • The management is not liable for damage ensuing from events of force majeure and acts of God, such as inclement weather, natural disasters, epidemics, and diseases.
    • Under no conditions will discounts be applied at check-out for alleged poor service that may occur following any of the above-listed events.

  6. ACCEPTANCE OF THE REGULATIONS

    • Guests are aware that the use of the booking services implies the full and unreserved acceptance of the regulations of Palazzo Del Carretto - Art Apartments and Guesthouse set out in this document.

  7. PRIVACY

    • Guests acknowledge and accept the existence of the Electronic Register required for the use of the online service (henceforth known as the Log), compiled and held by PALAZZO DEL CARRETTO Srl, or by third parties.
    • The content of the Log is highly confidential and may be shown solely to the competent authorities upon request. In accordance with Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, guests declare that they have received the privacy briefing and consent to the processing of their personal data, directly or by third parties, and in accordance with the obligations required by law, or by a regulation, or by an EU regulation, and in particular to fulfil all contractual obligations, also for the following purposes regarding the services described in these regulations and any supplements/changes to them: a) performing statistical market research and studies; b) mailing advertising/information material; c) carrying out sales network or placement activities; d) mailing commercial information and/or interactive commercial messages.

The management reserves the right to modify these regulations, which will be displayed at the reception, at any time in order to ensure the optimal use of the premises by all guests.
While not expressly specified herein, these regulations refer to the “Framework Law on Tourism”, Regional Law no. 11, September 1989, Chapter 5.
TURIN is designated the sole place of jurisdiction in the case of dispute.

Pursuant to and in accordance with Art. 1341 and Art. 1342 of the Civil Code, I hereby declare that I have viewed and expressly approve the clauses on this page, and particularly clauses 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of these Regulations
